START TALKING:
When have you been in a relationship where you felt like you were never good enough or what you did was never good enough?
START THINKING:
Read Romans 7:14-25.
What does Paul, the author of Romans, describe here? How would you describe this in your own words in a way that is relatable to you or someone else?
In verse 25, what does he say is the solution to this?
Read Romans 8:1.
How does this verse respond to the previous passage you read?
START SHARING:
Why is it important to embrace the truth that Jesus doesn't merely reduce condemnation but completely eliminates it? Why do we struggle with this and what are the implications of living as if Jesus only reduces condemnation?
Read Romans 8:15.
When have you felt like a fearful slave in your relationship with Jesus? What legalistic beliefs did you have that made you feel like you may never be good enough? How does understanding God as your "Abba, Father" change that?
START DOING:
Read Psalms 149:4.
What can you do this week to walk in the truth that your Father delights in you? What role does repentance and confession play in living this truth?
START PRAYING:
Pray for each person in the micro church to embrace the truth that their Father loves them unconditionally and gives us more than good enough in exchange for our not good enough. Pray that we each have an opportunity to share this truth and our story with our "one" this week!

- How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
- How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?

Bottom Line: My Father can't be disappointed out of loving me.
Romans 8:1 NLT
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
1. Jesus does not reduce condemnation, He eliminates it!
Romans 8:15 NLT
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
2. With Jesus, my fear of failure turns into a forever family.
Romans 3:10-12 NLT
As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one.No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God.All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.”
Romans 5:19 NLT
Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
3. Jesus took my not good enough and gave me more than good enough.
Psalms 149:4 NLT
For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
4. The truth is my Father delights in me.
