ANNOUNCEMENTS

Family Ministry Focus - May 31
Today, during our services, we are going to celebrate and invest in the next generation at OneLife! We’ll be highlighting both Kid City and OneLife Students as we kick off an exciting summer season. In Kid City, we’ll officially reveal our brand-new summer theme — and trust us, your Pre-K and Elementary kiddos are going to love the adventure we have planned! We’ll also be praying over our OneLife Students as they prepare to head to camp this week, believing God is going to move powerfully in their lives. Plus, we’ll give you a simple way to stay connected and pray for them throughout the week. We truly believe this summer is going to be life-changing for the kids and students of OneLife, and we can’t wait to see all that God is going to do in and through the next generation!

Volunteer Softball Game - June 14
Join us for a fun evening together as we celebrate our incredible volunteers! We’ll gather for a relaxed night of softball, great food, and time to connect outside of a Sunday morning. Whether you want to jump in the game, cheer from the sidelines, or just hang out and enjoy a burger, this night is for you. This is simply a chance to slow down, laugh together, and build community with the people you serve alongside each week. Bring your family, bring a lawn chair, and come ready for a great night together.
Softball will be casual and open for anyone who wants to play — no skills required! We’ll have food, drinks, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the evening. The time for the event is 4pm to 7:45pm. Ball Road will meet at Nicholas Park: 8734 Ball Camp Pike and Knox Center will meet at Fountain City Ball Ball Park: 3701 Ludo Rd. To register just go to onelifeknox.com/volball. To join a volunteer team simply mark the “volunteering” box on your connection card.

Night of Worship, June 24 – 6:30pm – Knox Center Campus
OneLifers from both campuses are coming together for a powerful Night of Worship centered around worship, prayer, and communion. As we gather, we’ll take time to reflect on what God is doing in us, celebrate the grace of Jesus, and lean into the ways He continues to shape and transform our lives. This will be a meaningful night to slow down, seek Him together, and prepare our hearts for what’s ahead.
Come expectant. Come ready to worship. And don’t come alone—invite someone and live on mission with us. Childcare available for kindergarten and younger.

Join a Volunteer Team
There’s never been a better time to join a OneLife volunteer team. From our Kid City team, to First Impressions & Security, to Production & Worship, OneLife Students on Wednesdays, and our Connections Team during the week - there are tons of opportunities for you to get involved. Mark the Volunteering box on your Connection Card to get started!

Baptism

If you’ve given your life to Jesus but haven’t gone public with your story through baptism then it’s time to take that step! Mark the baptism box on your Connection Card and we’ll help you get started.

Bottom Line: The lens I use to see the world will give me lies or life.

Worldview - The framework through which I interpret reality.

Why am I here?
What gives life meaning?
What is truth?
What is right and wrong?
Who am I - really?

Romans 12:1-2 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

1. The world wants to shape my lens.

2. Transformation changes the lens.

3. A biblical lens helps me see truth.

----------------------------------------

START TALKING:
When have you literally seen something differently because of glasses, a microscope, a camera, or a different person's perspective/story? What surprised you? What changed in how you saw it going forward even though the reality didn't change at all?

START THINKING:
Read Romans 12:1.
What does "living sacrifice" or "living and holy gift" mean? What is it in response to?

Read Romans 12:2.
What does the first part of this verse say will be our natural default? What is required to change our lens? What will the result be?

START SHARING:
What are examples of lenses, or ways that you see or used to see things, that you inherited or absorbed from culture? This may have been from your family, your own assumptions, culture, or even religion. What changed - or what will change - when you develop a biblical lens?

What are some of the most common worldview assumptions you see that the world shapes in the people around you?

How has your mind been transformed? What are examples of things that have changed as your mind has been transformed by the Spirit and scripture? What has been most revealing to you and even most difficult?

What disciplines or experiences have helped you most to transform your mind and see through a biblical lens? What do you find most easily distracts you from this and reverts your lens back to the worldly lens?

START DOING:
Read Joshua 1:8, Psalm 119:105, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17. What do these verses teach you to do to have the right lens?

Read Romans 12:3-21.
What does this passage say will be different because of a transformed mind and correct lens? Make a list of all the ways you will see the world differently according to this passage when you have a biblical lens and renewed mind.

Which one of these most impacts or convicts you, or which one made you think of something current in your life that needs a biblical lens? What will you do this week to see that situation differently?

How will developing a biblical worldview and seeing the world through the right lens make a difference as you live like a missionary and strive to reach your "one" for Jesus?

START PRAYING:

Pray for what each person shared in the section above. Ask God to continue to work on each of us to see the world how He sees the world. Pray that each of us would trust His word above all else to be the lens by which we filter everything in our lives.

MULTIPLICATION

Share spiritual/missional conversations you've had where you live, work, and play:
  - Who did you have a conversation with that took a spiritual/missional turn this week?
  - What questions did you ask to discover where God is at work in their life, even if they are not aware?
  - How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
  - How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
  - Who in your life do you think could be disciple-able or open to spiritual/missional conversations?

WHAT'S NEXT?
  - Discuss the next step for your micro church. When will we gather again, and which purpose will it fulfill (missions, fellowship/care, growth, worship, multiplication)?
