MULTIPLICATION
Share spiritual/missional conversations you've had where you live, work, and play:
- Who did you have a conversation with that took a spiritual/missional turn this week?
- What questions did you ask to discover where God is at work in their life, even if they are not aware?
- How were you able to share your story of life change or how you have experienced Jesus?
- How can you be intentional this week with people where you live, work, and play to have spiritual/missional conversations if the opportunity arises?
- Who in your life do you think could be disciple-able or open to spiritual/missional conversations?

Bottom Line: The blessing that comes from contributing to the ministry is far better than the blessing that comes from just receiving from the ministry.
Acts 20:33-35 NIVI have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
1. Life-changing ministry is hard work.
2. The hard work should focus on those in need not those in the family already.
3. The more I give the more blessing I receive.

START TALKING:
What are things in life that we all receive at some point and end up giving to someone else later?
What is something you received at some point in your life that you have since given to someone else. How was the giving experience far greater than the receiving experience was?

START THINKING:
Read Acts 20:33-34. What does Paul say that he did and didn't do? Why is this important to set the stage before what he says in verse 35?
Paul's hard work wasn't just for himself. Who else was it for? What does that mean was the purpose for Paul when he went to work each day?
Read Acts 20:35. How is this counter cultural to most of our experiences and to most of what the world assumes?

START SHARING:
If life-changing ministry is hard work, as Paul describes, what does it mean about ministry that isn't hard work and that doesn't require sacrifice? When have you experienced the two different extremes?
How has being part of hard-work-ministry made a difference in your own life? How have you seen it contribute to the life-change for someone else?
Paul's teaching in this passage clearly directs us to focus our ministry on the weak. That word indicates those who are weak in every way: physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially, etc. How is this different than the focus of many Christians and churches? Why do you think we default to focusing on those already in the family rather than focusing on those who are "weak."
When have you experienced an increasing blessing the more you give to ministry?

START DOING:
Every person who follows Jesus should be giving more than they receive - more time, more finances, more of their gifts and talents - to help those who are weaker in the faith and more vulnerable. What can you do to take a step to increase your contribution to the ministry?
How will people far from God likely respond when they see you living your life and participating in ministry at this ever-increasing level? How does it reflect the Gospel?

Pray that God would raise up an army of volunteers to carry out the mission that He has called OneLife Church to?
