Bottom Line: Following my heart leads to deception.

Genesis 8:21 ESV

Romans 7:18 ESV

1. Sin prevents my heart from being trustworthy.

THREE WAYS MY HEART DECEIVES ME

2. My heart lies about sin.

Ephesians 2:1-3 NIV

4. My heart resists authority.
