The Service
Our Sunday services at OneLife are a relaxed, friendly, and open environment where anyone is welcome. We have mainstream music from the OneLife Band that allows you to worship God in a way that's relevant to your life and to your experiences. Our pastor, Rodney Arnold, teaches a message that will connect with you and challenge you through your day-to-day living. There is also a time of giving where you can financially support the church and the causes in our community. Watch A Full Service Online!

Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first time coming to church...
We're so excited that you're giving church a try! We want you to know that there's nothing scary or weird about a service at OneLife. All of us are far from perfect, but we know there's a God who is perfect and he wants our one life to make a difference. So we come together to celebrate that on Sundays and then hear a message that we'll be able to take with us the rest of the week. There's a welcome table when you first walk in the lobby. Any one of our greeters there will be able to answer any other questions you may have. We really look forward to meeting you!
What should I wear?
Be yourself! Some of us dress casual, some of us dress up a little, and some of us can't get out of the 80's. Whatever your style is, it's welcome!
Do I need a Bible?
A Bible is always a great thing to have, but if you don't have one don't worry -- it'll all be up on the big screen. If you need a Bible, please stop by our welcome table and we'd be happy to give you one for free.
What do I do with my kids?
Your kids (birth to 5th grade) will love being checked into OneLife Kidz. You'll see the signs when you first walk into the lobby. Check-in starts 20 minutes before the service begins and we recommend you come a little early to not miss any of the service. For security reasons, kids cannot be checked in once their "big group" time has started. We appreciate your understanding of this.
Are you affiliated with a denomination?
OneLife Church is self-governing and under no denominational control. However, OneLife was started and is supported by many churches and associations (both denominational and non) including: The East Tennessee Link, the Knox County Association of Baptists, Tennessee Baptist Convention, Blount Community Church, Providence Church, Friendship Baptist Church and Fellowship Bible Church.
What are OneLife's Beliefs?
In a sentence, we believe that the Bible is the perfect, timeless Word of God and that everything in it is truth. Central to that is Jesus Christ who is the only way to God and came to give us a "better life than we ever dreamed" (John 10:10). Find out more about our beliefs, mission, and strategy.
Why does there need to be a new church?
North Knox County is the fastest growing community in Knoxville. However, the number of churches here to reach the growing community has not grown. Additionally, OneLife exists to be a church for those not already involved in church. Research shows that more than 60,000 residents in the community are not involved in a local church.
Why does OneLife meet in a rented space?
Despite what many naturally think, church isn't a building! It's the people. Being a new church, we don't want to focus on facilities but the people we are here to help discover God. So for now we transform a banquet facility into a church each week rather than financing our own facility. Come see it for yourself! You might just be surprised.
