Our Beliefs
Our Mission: To see people discover God and how their one life can make a difference.
Our Strategy: OneLife Church will aggressively utilize creative methodologies in an attempt to reach people who are far from God and show them how He intends for their one life to make a difference. Rather than run from culture we have chosen to harness it to connect with people and show them God's timeless truths. Although our approach is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position.
Our Beliefs: In a sentence, we believe that the Bible is the perfect, timeless Word of God and that everything in it is truth. Central to that is Jesus Christ who is the only way to God and came to give us a "better life than we ever dreamed" (John 10:10). While there are certain issues that can be debated, there are some beliefs that are essential.

The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men and women were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the entire Bible is without error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.
God
We believe in one God. The same God who created the entire universe and everything that's in it. We believe God is loving, fair, perfect, all-powerful, all-knowing, and is eternally present in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, called the Trinity. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the only Savior of the lost world.
Humanity
We believe that all people were created in the image of God as the supreme object of creation to have fellowship with him. However, humanity became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
Salvation
We believe every person is disobedient to God's desires and plans in varying degrees. Any disobedience to God, regardless of how large or small, is characterized as "sin." Sin literally separates each person from God, which is spiritual death and is not God's desire. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin and give complete control of their life to the will of God. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.
Christian Life
We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Bible and giving complete control daily to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ. Jesus said this would be evident by our love of others and Him.
Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are baptized believers who organize with other Christians to reach unbelievers with the message of salvation, serve as a corporate body for worship of God, provide fellowship for Christians with each other, develop the gifts and talents of Christians for godly service and serving the underprivileged of our time, and practice baptism and communion.
